Senior Administrator (Strategic Management & Alignment)
Role Purpose
Work directly with the head of strategic management and alignment, to ensure smooth operation of business management, planning, tracking, forecasting and strategic alignment. This entails operations from budgeting, strategic direction and planning, project management, data administration and insights, and various reporting.
Requirements
- Post-graduate BCom Degree or relevant qualification
- 3-5 years’ experience in an investments service environment
- Proven track record of project management
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide general assistance to the Head of Strategic Management and Alignment in the management of portfolios.
- To provide overall support to enable the business priorities of the Head of Strategic Management and Alignment.
- Provide assistance in developing, promoting and overseeing the implementation of strategic outcomes that enables Retail Service and Operations (RISO) strategy.
- To manage the relationships and expectations of internal and external stakeholders by developing partnerships through effective communication.
- In partnership and support of the Head of Strategic Management and Alignment, take responsibility of some areas within the business portfolio in order to create focus and deliver on planned business outcomes.
- Keep abreast with best practices within the financial services industries to enable the Head of Strategic Management and Alignment to effectively respond to the market and all relevant stakeholders.
- To support the diverse communication streams in collaboration with the Head of Strategic Management and Alignment.
- Foster collaboration between teams and stakeholders (internal and external), in order to enable an excellent client experience and service.
- Participate in activities within the value chain in order to ensure that quality standards are in line with business requirements.
- Identify and report on any significant performance, business or reputational risks which may impact the business.
- To perform a research and analysis function that may enable the Head of Strategic Management and Alignment to make informed decisions and provide strategic direction and innovative solutions to the RISO Manco team.
- Conduct regular engagement on behalf of the Head of Strategic Management and Alignment with stakeholders to cascade information and manage stakeholder expectation.
- In collaboration with the Head of Strategic Management and Alignment to proactively enable the implementation of a passionate client service way of work.
- Record information accurately and timeously and report on trends
- Validate data, compile and submit reports when required
- Check data completeness, consistency and verify relevant documentation by liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Review data quality regularly and make recommendations to improve data quality.
- Complete relevant documentation and submit to various stakeholders.
