**What to expect in the role?**
You will be working closely with the Senior People Business Partner in implementing the People Strategy within the relevant business areas, which encompasses Recruitment, Talent Management, Retention, and Succession Planning. Overseeing People processes such, Performance Management (KPAs & 360s), Employee Relations, and Compliance submissions.
This includes and is not limited to:
**Talent Management & Retention**
Assist the Senior People Business Partner in providing business leaders with effective Performance Management tools, guidance, and solutions that are aligned to the goals of business so as to stir up a work environment that is focused on developing and assisting our People in their individual career paths.
**Employee Relations Governance and Compliance**
Provide the business with effective industrial relations management, guidance, and solutions that are aligned to current legislation and practice.
Provide guidelines to managers and supervisors on best practices and ensure consistency.
Ensure the People handbook and relevant policies and procedures are updated in accordance with current legislation/best practice and communicated to all People where necessary.
Ensure that all mandatory submissions are submitted as per the government deadlines and that all People policies and processes are in place in line with the labour law legislation (Employment Equity,).
**Recruitment and Selection**
Responsible for the full cycle recruitment needs for the various vacancies available. This includes:
Creating a pipeline of high-potential applicants
Sourcing/headhunting potential applicants through various recruitment sites, networking, and relationship building both internally and externally.
Proactively screening and assessing applicants against the necessary skills and attributes
Conducting background checks, offering and onboarding all new IDM’ers
Accurate record-keeping with recruitment practices carried out in line with POPPIA
Reporting and presenting Recruitment data and stats to senior-level management
Managing relationships with our hiring managers
Ensure recruitment practices are carried out consistently, efficiently, and fairly in line with South African Labour Legislative requirements as well as to maintain a professional selection process.
**People Analytics**
Where required, provide reports on People Analytics to understand our workforce. Analyse data and get insight on trends. The efficient use of talent resources and various indicators, whilst planning for the future.
**Requirements We would like you to meet**:
- Minimum a Degree in Organisational Psychology or Human Resources
- ** 3 to 5 years experience** in the HR/People environment
- Must have full-cycle recruitment experience
- Experience in Recruitment Applicant Tracking Systems and Recruitment Assessment Platforms
- Sound knowledge of Labour Law practices & Acts
- Experience in the Contact Centre or Financial Services Industry beneficial
- Experience working on Excel and PowerPoint, compiling reports and presentations
