Administration Clerk: Public Library Enhancement

**Job Purpose**:
The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to provide clerical assistance to facilitate the management and projects of the Public Library Enhancement. This post is stationed in Cape Town.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).

**Recommendation**:
Relevant exposure/experience in an administrative environment; Working knowlegde of public/provincial libraries.

**Key Performance Areas**:
Finance/ SCM responsibilities; Co-ordinate and distrubute information in the Public Enhancement Division; Liaison and Communication; Administrative functions.

**Competencies**:
Knowledge and understanding of the following: Filing; Appropriate administrative procedures; Minute taking; Speedsheets and report writing; Skills in the following: Proven computer literacy in MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Verbal and written communication; Planning and organising; Interpersonal and decision making; Handling of conflict; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Remuneration**:
R 176 310 per annum (Salary level 5)
