**Job Advert Summary**:
SACS seeks a dynamic and passionate Grade 7 teacher whose all-round talents and committed work ethic will bring value to the school. Applicants should have had teaching experience in the classroom and be SACE registered. The advertised post commences from Term One of 2025.

Working experience in the CAPS Curriculum, as well as teaching with a growth mindset towards whole-child learning, are required. Accomplished computer skills, IT integration and the use of multi-media in the classroom are necessities.

Involvement in the Extra-Mural Sports Programme across a range of codes is essential. Additionally, preparedness to devote extra time to the life and energy of the School is highly recommended.

The closing date for the post is 11 October 2024.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Bachelor of Education in InterSen Phase or similar degree/diploma.
- Understanding of the South African CAPS curriculum.
- Experience in Grade Seven.
- IT integration in the classroom.
- Understanding of the Edtech space.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Inspirational and motivational approach to teaching and learning.
- Experience in Thinking School pedagogy would be beneficial.
- SACE registration.
- Police clearance.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Requires willingness to operate as a team player amongst boys, parents and staff.
- Needs to display excellent interpersonal, organisational and computer skills, as well as use of
multi-media teaching methods in the classroom and online.
- Will be required to devote time to the Summer and Winter Extra-Mural Programme.
- Must be devoted to the all-inclusive ethos, life and spirit of our School.
