**Job description**

**Job Objectives**:

- Effective management of Facilities, Contractors & Service Provider Staff and all resources and aspects relating to these departments at Centurion DC site
- Assist implementation of complete safety policies and committees in accordance with OHS Act
- Building and maintaining of process and procedures of each role within the department
- Ensure functionality of the Distributor and office blocks
- To implement a pro-active land and building maintenance program
- Ensure accurate and up to date Databases are maintained Continuous improvement of the data captured, stored, and reported.
- Ensure that all assets are cleaned and assigned to relevant departments.
- Maintain all assets on site and ensure they are in full working condition.
- Coordinate site Health & Safety and Compliance audits
- Mange site Health and safety compliance
- Manage overall Centurion DC site maintenance.
- Administration & Management of the Facilities and 4Me for services & facilities; to provide management with effective and accurate reporting.
- Effective management and training of the staff
- KPA’s to be completed for all staff timeously, with indicated needs for training and development, performance management.
- Ensure professional and efficient customer contact.
- Monthly reports to the Department Head
- Present and compile Capex Requests for Centurion DC
- Cost Centre accountability and management.

**Minimum requirements**

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Grade 12
- Tertiary Education in a similar field.
- Min 5 years’ experience in a managerial position in a distribution centre preferably.
- 5 Years experience in a Facilities Management Environment preferably
- Own vehicle
