**Overview**:
Our client is a high-profile Private Equity business, responsible for advising on core long-term strategic holdings and portfolio investments. They are looking to appoint an Investment Analyst, responsible for supporting the investment team and conducting detailed research, analysis, and reporting. This position will work closely with the investment team and investee companies to identify, evaluate, and monitor investment opportunities. Additionally, they will provide strategic and operational input into investee companies.

**Responsibilities**:

- _Research and Analysis:_ Conduct detailed financial analysis and market research on potential investment opportunities
- _Investment Evaluation: _Evaluate potential investments using various financial models and prepare written reports and presentations
- _Strategic and Operational Input:_ Provide strategic and operational guidance to investee companies to drive growth and improve performance
- _Portfolio Management:_ Monitor the performance of the existing portfolio and provide regular updates to the investment team
- _Reporting: _Prepare regular reports on investment performance, market trends, and industry developments

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A Master’s degree will be advantageous
- CFA or CA(SA) with 1-2 years' post article experience in private equity and/or corporate finance (advantageous, not a strict requirement)
- Proven experience in Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance and/or Investment Management, preferably in an Investment Banking, Family Office or Private Equity environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to create financial models and conduct financial analysis
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner
