**Job Title**: Experienced Interior Design Technician
**Location**: Somerset West

**Job Type**: Full-time, On-site

**Position Overview**: DesignUnion.Solutions is seeking an Experienced Interior Design Technician to join our team situated in Somerset West. In this role, you will be responsible for creating 5-star quality interior design documentation through various project phases, from concept and design development to tender, construction documentation, as-built, and handover. You will work at a fast pace, delivering meticulously detailed, fit-for-construction documentation. This role involves working on high-end international and local hospitality and leisure developments, requiring a strong understanding of detailed bespoke millwork, metalwork, and comprehensive furniture and lighting design. Collaboration with the design team to ensure accurate and detailed documentation is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed interior design documentation through all project phases: Concept, Design Development, Tender, Construction Documentation, and As-Built documentation.
- Develop detailed bespoke millwork, metalwork, and comprehensive furniture and lighting designs.
- Produce meticulous, fit-for-construction detailing.
- Work on high-end international and local hospitality and leisure developments.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure accurate and detailed documentation.
- Understand and incorporate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services into designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and materials specifications.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital archives and schedules of all project drawings and documents.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience as an Interior Design Technician, specifically in the hospitality sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and V-Ray.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing, detailing, and the incorporation of MEP services.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and materials.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work within project timelines.
- Portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects.
