**Accounting Clerk: Payroll Administration - Cape Town - R17 642.75 Per Month**
**2 Month Contract**
**Key Performance Area’s**
**Data Capturing on VIP**
- Payroll capture from duly authorised and consolidated capturing schedules on VIP.
- Additional payrolls that are administered, prepared and duly authorised outside of the Payroll Department: review and capture from schedules on VIP.
- Capture on VIP and/or Excel: vacation leave, sick leave and absenteeism.
- Implementing bank account charges as per financial institution’s confirming in writing.
- Capturing Employees information for the payroll onto VIP.
**Completing salaries related administrative duties**
- Administer the attendance registers of the PES project: source attendance registers of all the work sites.***:
- Distribute of pay slips***:
- Filing and record-keeping.***:
- UIF administration and IRP5 administration.**
**Processing of salary payments**
- Compile a consolidated capturing schedule for the PES project that is based on work-site attendance registers.***:
- Payment via Nedbank Electronic Funds transfer: create payment batch ensuring that the correct banking account details are used (as per VIP record)**
**Ad hoc duties as required in the Payroll Department**
- Assist with**:
- Audit queries and requests for information.***:
- Staff related queries on the main payroll***:
- With the distribution of payslips of main salary run***:
- Administrative tasks relating to main pay run***:
- Supplementary pay runs relating to main pay runs**
**Minimum Requirements**
- A diploma in Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualification with NQF 6***:
- 3 years’ experience in payroll and benefits administration***:
- Some experience in customer, service would be advantage.***:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.***:
- Driver’s licence***:
- Payroll Management Certificate.
- VIP experience.
Training in relevant legislation.
