Cape Town, South Africa Spinx Property Maintenance Full time

Spinx Property Maintenance is looking for an experienced, hands-on supervisor for its Cape Town office. You’ll run day-to-day maintenance and small building projects (residential & light commercial), meet clients on site, scope the work and compile accurate quotations. Once the job is approved, you’ll coordinate staff/contractors through to sign-off, ensuring quality workmanship and happy customers.

**Key responsibilities**
- Conduct site inspections, identify faults and propose practical solutions.
- Prepare detailed, cost-effective quotations and BOQs.
- Schedule and supervise maintenance teams, artisans and subcontractors.
- Order materials, track job costs and keep tight control of timelines.
- Act as primary point of contact for clients—continuous updates and problem-solving.
- Enforce OHS standards and company policies on every site.
- Produce daily progress reports and final sign-off documentation.

**What you’ll need**
- **5 + years’** solid experience in building maintenance, general repairs or minor construction.
- Proven ability to measure, price and present professional quotations.
- Strong customer-facing skills—clear communication in English (Afrikaans/Xhosa an advantage).
- Sound knowledge of trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, waterproofing, etc.).
- Competence with MS Office / estimating software and smartphone job-tracking apps.
- Valid SA **driver’s licence**.
- Physically fit, able to climb ladders, carry materials and work on live sites.
- **Immediate availability** and willingness to work occasional after-hours or weekends.
