**Purpose of the Job**:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant is responsible for managing all the daily
activities of and providing sound administrative support to the Marketing Department.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Support**:

- To assist with all logistics on all marketing campaigns and events
- Liaison with key stakeholders for marketing campaigns.
- To assist with tenant liaison.
- To assist in implementing the CSI Programme for the Centre.
- To manage customer complaints and feedback on social media platforms.
- To assist in actioning the Programme to increase gift card sales.
- To assist with briefing and designing of branding elements on all digital platforms.
- To assist with PR and preparation of media statements
- Conduct regular competitor analyses on malls in our local catchment area

**Administration**:

- Daily checks and updates to the centre website
- Briefing the creative team on all digital campaigns
- To provide support in research surveys on each marketing campaign through the use of IRL
- Drafting of customer and tenant newsletter ensuring content is relevant and accurate
- To assist in drawing up contract mandates, raising quotes, following up on orders and payments.
- To assist in administration of invoices
- To provide collated monthly website statistics
- To update the marketing database (tenants, customers, media, etc.)
- Provide administrative support for Customer Service Relationship Programmes.
- Keep an updated list of all target media
- Provide administrative support for monthly and quarterly reports
- Events planning, organisation and execution.
- Production and distribution of marketing communication and memos
- To assist in maintaining accurate minutes of all marketing meetings
- To provide general administrative support to liaise with tenants and conduct regular tenant visits and meetings.
- Maintain all Marketing archives
- To provide administrative support for all Non-GLA activities.

**Liaison**:

- To liaise with suppliers.
- To liaise with sponsors and partners.
- To liaise with tenants.
- To liaise with head office team members to ensure processes are followed accurately.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant Marketing qualification.
- Approx 2 years Shopping Centre Marketing Experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of social and digital media
- Knowledge on CANVA and basic design skills

- teams.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Strong presentation skills
- Solid business acumen.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office-MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- Sound administrative skills.
- Good project management.
- Good attention to detail.
- Sound understanding of the principles of marketing and branding
- Understanding of payment processes
- Understanding of setting up databases
- PR Knowledge
- Great social and digital media knowledge
