**Legal Manager - Claims**
**The incumbent will be responsible for the creation and management of the new Legal claims division which will include**:
- Recruiting the new Legal Claims team members
- Designing processes and procedures for the division
- Manage, motivate and measure the performance of the team and members of the team
- Select and manage a panel of external attorneys to represent Debtbusters Legal
- Manage the claims process within agreed upon Key Measurement factors
- Prepare the budget for the division and manage performance against the budget, key measurement factors and ratios
- Work closely with the Executives and Management in the IDM Group
- Prepare monthly reports and report on the operations and performance of the division
- Ensure that performance of the division attains the desired customer satisfaction levels
- Ensure that regulatory and statutory obligations are adhered to
**Key Requirements**:
- LLB Degree
- Previous personnel lines legal claims management experience
- Insurance compliance exposure
- Be able to create an environment that drives performance and IDM culture
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Reporting abilities, data analysis and interpretation
- Have a record of an excellent work ethic
- Preference will be given to FAIS compliant individuals
