This role is central to enabling the regional Marketing Leadership Team to effectively measure marketing performance against plan. The Marketing Performance Analyst is focused on providing reporting, analysis, insights, and recommendations to support performance optimization, ranging from campaign execution to overall marketing planning support.

The role-holder is responsible for identifying, agreeing, and periodically reviewing strategic and operational KPIs and ensuring they are regular communicated to and understood by all relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Acts as main point of contact for Marketing leaders within the region and the Marketing Analytics & Insight team
- Identifies and defines requirements for reporting, analysis, and insight in collaboration with senior leaders and business stakeholders across the marketing organization and beyond; where relevant including business operations, customer success and product teams.
- Provides data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic and tactical decision-making for key marketing initiatives.
- Attends relevant forums, as agreed with regional marketing leaders to provide support in reviewing performance through data and communication of analysis findings to business stakeholders.
- Influences business stakeholders to enact process improvements and adopt recommendations based on data driven insights and best practices.
- Educates business stakeholders on usage of dashboards and understanding of measurement approaches.
- Leads preparation of inputs for regional and central marketing performance reviews, planning and forecast analyses.
- Continually enhances capability of reporting of ROI of marketing initiatives.
- Owns responsibility for delivery of reporting solutions and dashboards, both via hands-on individual work as well as through the wider Analytics and Insights team including scoping and prioritizing of project and backlogs.
- Collaborates with relevant technical teams to enable new approaches and/or solutions to reporting challenges and business questions.

Reporting and Collaborative Relationships
- Reports to Marketing Performance Manager (Part of Marketing Operations)
- Works closely with Regional Marketing Operations Leader and Country Marketing Leader, as well as other Regional Marketing stakeholders, Central Marketing Teams, Product, Business Operations, Customer Success and Finance teams.

Desired qualifications

The Marketing Performance Analyst:

- Is passionate about insights, continuous learning and how important data analysis and reporting are to the overall success of the business; able to communicate a deeper understanding of customers and prospective customers for the benefit of all stakeholders.
- Has a strong understanding of eCommerce, digital marketing, and demand funnel performance.
- Is familiar with B2B environment and understands best practice B2B marketing analytic approaches (such as those from Forrester / Sirius Decisions).
- Has hands-on experience and a deep understanding of data and analytics: extraction, modeling and transformations, analysis, and visualization.
- Performs complex analyses and objectively identifies insights that help answer business questions in a timely manner.
- Is professional and polished in communicating with senior leadership and confident in building strong relationships cross-functionally.
- Is proficient using and developing Business Intelligence / Data Visualization tools, ideally Qlik / Power BI.
- Is comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Is detail oriented and skilled in project management.
- Possesses excellent Excel skills, including pivot table analysis.
- Has at least 3 years’ experience in a Marketing Reporting/Analytics role.
