**Job Desciption**:
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Efficient workflow planning to meet production targets and deadlines
- Preparation and running of all units under his or her control, including colour registration
- Fault finding on presses
- Perform regular maintenance on printing presses
- Quality monitoring
- Optimal utelization of resources to ensure minimum waste, maximum productivity and work efficiency
- Adherence to all Health and Safety legislative requirements and meeting the required standards
- Housekeeping in and around the Press Department

**Educational Requirements**:

- Grade 12 National Certificate
- A recognised trade certificate (Rotary Web Offset Machine Minding)

**Experience Requirements**:

- At least 3 years’ industry related experience is essential.
- At least 3 years’ experience/exposure in a similar position.
- Able to work weekends, shifts and public holidays.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Good planning and time management skills
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Problem solving and well-developed decision making abilities
- Knowledge of print production processes and raw materials
- Sound computer skills is required (MS Office packages)
- The ability to multi-task and to work independently under pressure
