**Position details**:
Type: Permanent
Primary Purpose: As our Sales Administrator, you'll be instrumental in handling a diverse array of responsibilities, including managing requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs). Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with our Research and Development (R&D) team to bolster our sales endeavours.

Job description / core competencies:
Manage the end-to-end process of preparing and submitting quotes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism in all communications.

Collaborate with the R&D team to understand technical specifications and requirements, incorporating them into sales proposals and quotes effectively.

Coordinate with various departments, including sales, production, and procurement, to gather necessary information for quoting purposes.

Assist in the preparation of RFP responses, including compiling documentation, pricing schedules, and other relevant materials.

Proactively follow up on outstanding quotes and proposals to ensure timely responses and maximize conversion rates.

Provide administrative support to the sales team, including data entry, report generation, and documentation management.

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
Proven experience in sales administration, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Prior experience in handling RFQs and RFPs is highly desirable.
