**Internship Opportunity: Supply Chain Management Intern**

**Location**: 82 Grayston Drive, Sandton
**Reports to**: Manager: Supply Chain Management

**Job Purpose**
The Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF) is seeking a dedicated and motivated **Supply Chain graduate with no prior work experience who is willing to learn how** to provide administrative support to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) unit and other GPF business units. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain functions and work closely with a professional SCM team.

**Key Performance Areas**
As the Supply Chain Intern, you will be responsible for:

- Sourcing suppliers from the Central Supplier Database.
- Compiling and evaluating price quotations.
- Conducting market research on products and services.
- Assisting in the preparation of procurement plans and quarterly reports.
- Supporting the management of tenders and participating in bid committee processes.
- Performing inventory management and monthly inventory reconciliations.
- Coordinating travel arrangements and handling monthly reconciliations.
- Assisting with contract management and expenditure trend analysis.
- Drafting various reports and managing compliance.
- Supporting Economic Development (ED) and BEE reporting.
- Engaging in teamwork, brainstorming, and mentoring activities.
- Performing additional SCM-related duties as required by the CEO, CFO, or Line Manager.

**Appointment Requirements**
- **Educational Background**: Minimum National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification at NQF level 6.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- **Competencies**: Willingness to learn, proactive, and team oriented.
