**Descriptions**:

- Liaise on a daily basis with colleagues, line manager, the secretarial department of the company
- Limited, etc in order to ensure complete and accurate accounting of all transactions
- Cash flow monitoring, creditors payments and bank reconciliations
- Maintain outstanding debtor records and follow-up on payments
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Completing and submitting regulatory returns for, e.g. Income tax, VAT payable, etc
- Assist with the preparation of annual and interim financial statements in terms of International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”).
- Liaise with external auditors to obtain sign-off on work performed.
- Assist with the annual budget preparation.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and variance reports for the company and its cost centres.
- Establish work process flows and internal controls.
- Assist the Group Finance management team with various adhoc projects that occur from time to time.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in an accounting administration role. Knowledge of VAT, general tax compliance and eFiling.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team orientated environment.
- Articulate with excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English (both verbally & written).
- Accurate, detail orientated and organised.
- Strong decision making and planning skills.
- Ability to function under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Motivated and pro-active in order to grow the job beyond its current specifications.
- Computer literate - excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is essential. The job holder must be willing to master the use of new accounting and reporting software products.
- Displays a positive attitude, willingness to aid and excellence in execution of duties.
