A vacancy exists for a **Restaurant** **Training and Capability Manager**. Leading a team of Operations Trainers that will drive operational capability by enabling continuous learning, conducting capability assessments and providing training interventions and workshops for restaurant teams across a geographic area.

To lead Operations Trainers and drive operational capability by enabling continuous learning, capability building and providing training interventions and workshops for restaurant management.


**TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT**

v Drive In-store Capability Assessments, this includes Identifying and assessing future and current training needs.

v Providing on-the-job coaching, training interventions and workshops such as drawing an overall or individualized training and development plan for talent (Bench) sustainability.

v Focused Operation Trainer Audits In-Store

v Management and development of Operations Trainers

v Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths.

v Ensure effective induction and orientation sessions of Restaurant Staff.

v Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.

v Manage training budget.

v Provide opportunities for ongoing development.

v Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary

v Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices

v Clear presentation/training style in classroom situation, with excellent facilitation skills

v Strong planning and organizational skills

v Strong drive for results and ability to self-manage

v Ability to lead others to achieve a unified delivery approach

v Ability to travel extensively.

v Strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written

v Ability to build & maintain strong working relationships with all the above partners, particularly Operations

v Computer literacy - proficient in MS Office particularly, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

v Leverage skills & knowledge to build people capability to feed the talent pipeline for growth

v Confidentiality, trustworthy & extremely reliable

**REQUIREMENTS**

v Min 5 years’ experience in a training and /facilitating role

v A valid driver's license

v Good understanding of the current operational training landscape

v Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization

v A National diploma in a related field

v The ability to assess gaps and solve problems effectively

v Determination and patience

v Good organization skills

v A sensitive and supportive approach
