Underwriting Administrator

Infinite Credit Underwriting Managers (Pty) Ltd is looking for a dedicated underwriting administrator. The company is based in Boksburg, Gauteng and specialises in value-added products in the non-life insurance industry.

Duties include the following:

- Answering general queries in terms of products, rates, and specialised offerings.
- Quoting on new business for brokers and providing guidance to brokers in terms of the product offering.
- Incepting new business policies.
- Policy amendments and endorsements.
- Liaising with brokers in terms of unmet premiums.
- Renewal policy terms creation, sending renewal terms to brokers, and ensuring loss ratio management processes are followed.
- Working closely with the claims department to issue claims histories to brokers and to ensure post-loss underwriting is done and effectively communicated to brokers.
- System testing and product development.
- Monitoring of the underwriting inbox.
- Assisting the data-capturing team in policy activations and reconciliations.
- RE5 Certificate (preferred but not compulsory).
- NQF5 or equivalent qualification (preferred but not compulsory).
- Class of business training for personal lines, commercial lines, and long-term insurance (preferred but not compulsory).
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the insurance industry (preferred).

Pay: From R12 000,00 per month
