**Job Title: Draughtsperson (Property Development)**

**Department**: Design & Planning of Property development
**Reports To**: Property Portfolio Manager / Project Manager

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, site layouts, and technical documentation using CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce and refine design drawings from concept through to construction.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and company standards.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes.
- Maintain drawing registers and proper document control procedures.
- Conduct site visits to take measurements, verify details, or resolve on-site drawing issues.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers as needed during the design and construction phases.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Certificate in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or related field.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working in property development or construction industry is preferred.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of local planning and building codes.
- Experience with 3D modelling and visualization tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R10 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
