In short, we need a seasoned professional with an ability to coach teams, Agile practitioners, and business leaders to focus on the flow of business value by using Lean-Agile management and design approaches.

**The Role**

This role will have an impact across all our engineering departments, but especially our software engineering teams. As Agile delivery manager, you will be accountable for optimizing the flow of work through engineering using Lean-Agile processes and practices, clean data, and understandable metrics.

We therefore want someone who can take responsibility for improving our ability to deliver the highest value product increments within the best possible time. You will ensure that the Agile professionals, engineering team and wider business use the appropriate metrics, processes, language, and continuous improvement ethos. The remit is wider than following processes and rules; it is about driving the change agenda. And using data and data analysis tools to inform that agenda.

You will be responsible for making concrete and relevant delivery improvements in engineering by promoting awareness, driving ownership, developing competencies, and facilitating the removal of blockages.

You will report to the EVP engineering.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage, lead, and develop a team of delivery leads/ scrum masters and data analysts.
- Document and visibly publish engineering processes and areas for improvement.
- Configure and administer the tools and software used to manage and measure delivery, including Jira and PowerBI.
- Set up and publish useful metrics for measuring productivity, flow of work and other measures of engineering team health.
- Make work visible to our distributed workforce, especially delivery and flow metrics that help drive employee satisfaction and improvements to ways of work.
- Help define and ensure consistent Lean-Agile standards, processes, and best practices within the engineering teams so that they are equipped to address the evolving needs of the organization.
- Actively support product and engineering teams in developing deeper Lean-Agile competencies and processes, including planning, estimating, retrospection, and showcasing work.
- Work with engineering leaders to review processes and drive opportunities for ongoing improvements in line with lean principles that deliver scalable and quality software products.
- Champion the values and benefits of lean software development and cultivate an Agile mindset where problems are embraced as improvement opportunities.

**Skills & Experience**
- 5+ years' experience in lean-agile facilitation or value-led project management role.
- 3+ year in analyst role using metrics to guide decision making.
- 3+ years leading a team.
- Excellent understanding of core agile concepts.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing change initiatives.
- Demonstrable experience making work visible using dashboards or Kanban boards.
- Track record using lean management techniques to identify and improve delivery processes.
- Experience in creating high performance SDLC processes and environments.
- Excellent intra-personal skills at all levels in the business.
- A formal agile certification.
- Scrum agile process experience preferably in FinTech is an advantage.
