Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and perform comprehensive internal audits for various clients to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with policies, and efficiency of operations.

Evaluate clients' financial systems, processes, and infrastructure to identify risks and control weaknesses.

Develop and maintain audit programs, test plans, and documentation standards tailored to client needs.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and tailor audit services to meet those needs.

Identify and document risks, control weaknesses, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to clients.

Prepare and present audit reports to client senior management and audit committees.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior auditors and contribute to their professional development.

Stay current with emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Assist in the development and maintenance of internal audit policies, procedures, and standards.

Conduct follow-up audits to monitor the implementation of recommendations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or related fields within the financial services, banking, or retail sectors, preferably within a consulting environment.

Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of internal audit principles and regulatory requirements.

Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, Basel III, PCI-DSS).

Proficiency in audit software and data analytics tools.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a consulting team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience with financial modeling and risk management frameworks.

Prior experience in a senior or lead auditor role within a consulting firm.

Familiarity with fraud detection and prevention strategies.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: R350,00 - R550,00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
