**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Position**:Adviser Support (Administration)
**Objective**:
- The primary objective of the role is to provide effective and professional administrative support to the Advisory team.
- To contribute as a professional team member/team player toward the success of the Advisory team, the Company, and its business partners.
**Duties and responsibilities summary include but not limited to**:
- Prepare paperwork for Advisor’s meetings with clients.
- Prepare quotations to accompany the document packs.
- Obtain Astute records to accompany the document packs.
- Support Advisors in gathering and compiling supporting documents toward new business
- Prepare; (draft, design, and maintain) proposals, presentations, documents related to and in support of new business appointments Advisors may have with clients.
- Stay informed of new business submitted and communicate/consult with the New Business Administrator and/or system to ensure all requirements are met.
- Communicate outstanding requirements and progress with Advisors and assist in gathering the outstanding.
- Stay informed of existing business changes and communicate/consult with the Existing Business Administrator and/or system to ensure all requirements are met.
- Communicate the outstanding requirements and progress with Advisors and assist in gathering the outstanding.
- Liaise and engage with/between different departments and the Advisory team.
- Act as first point of contact for Advisors (e.g., distribute agendas and etc. between Management and the Advisory team)
- Collect information for lead reports if/when required by Management
- Record keeping
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to ensure all newly drafted material used by Advisors are in line with policies and procedures. (e.g., all newly drafted material must be signed off by Marketing before used)
- Assistance, support and coordinated events and campaigns when/if required by/with the Marketing team toward the Advisory teams’ needs.
- Attend all training and meeting sessions related to the Advisory team.
- Draft Agendas and minutes of meetings related to Advisory Sales teams if/when requested/required.
**Qualifications**:
- Matric
- Administrative and/or Financial Services related (advantages)
**Knowledge and Competencies**:
- Administration
- Technologically: Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Internet (e.g., research)
- Outstanding verbal, written and communication skills in both Afrikaans and English (the majority of our client's are Afrikaans, therefore it is important that our employees are effective communicators in both languages)

- Financial Services Industry (minimum 2 years)
