Assembles base information and plans, and in conjunction with professional personnel,
formulates concept plans for basic types of engineering works.
Attends to and applies specific sequences associated with the detailed development and
draughting of Engineering proposals of a basic nature.
Applies principles and techniques associated with the development of electrical building
services engineering designs at a basic level.
Analyses and interprets the client’s brief and interrogates regulations and legislation requiring
consideration during the design sequence.
Design tools for project approval purposes.
Attends specific sequences associated with the preparation and collation of contract
documentation.
Monitors compliance with terms and conditions during the execution of specific minor Electrical
Building Services Engineering contracts.

design,draughting and contract management of Electrical Bulding Services Engineering
requirements for average complexity projects.
Applies principles and techniques associated with the development of technical electrical
building services designs.
Co-ordinating sequences associated with the preparation and collation of contract
documentation and undertaking and reporting on tender/contractor evaluations.
Implements and monitors minor electrical building services engineering contracts for average
complexity projects.
Disseminates information on technical aspects and provides report detailing interventions and
outcomes.

National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) obtained through an accredited
Further Education and Training Institute.

Valid motor vehicle driver’s licence (Code EB)
1 Year relevant experience
Computer Literacy.

**Senior Technician (EBS) - 36005646B**

National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) obtained through an accredited
Further Education and Training Institute.
Registered as a Professional Engineering Technician (Pr. Technician Engineering) with the
Engineering Council of South Africa.
Valid motor vehicle driver’s licence (Code EB)
3 Years relevant experience.
Computer Literacy.
