Our client in the ICT industry, based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, is seeking to appoint a marketing and communications assistant to support the enterprise development (ED) team and the CEO with end-to-end marketing, communication, PR and events management activities.
Reporting to the ED manager, the position is mainly accountable for:
Strategic stakeholder support (managing a strategic account within the Telco space)
Branding and promotional management
Events management
External marketing and PR of the organisation

**Roles and responsibilities**:
**Communication**:
Liaising with stakeholders
External PR and media support e.g. website, social media, interviews, press releases

**Program communique**: internal and external
Copywriting
Blog writing/articles.

**Social media**:
Social media management which includes community and engagement.
Social media budget management
Management of marketing collateral and assets
Audit of marketing content
Presentation preparations
Design of templates and layouts
Design of social media posts
Ensuring correct stock imagery used
Managing brand CI
Copywriting
Blog writing/articles.
Coordinating and administering online media

**Finance and SCM**:
Project budget reconciliation
Procurement administration

**Event management**:
Projects management
Branding maintenance
Assisting on events
Arranging webinars
Guest list coordination and invites
Guest liaison and management

**Qualifications and experience**:
Matric
Degree in marketing/communications/PR/events or equivalent
2-3 years experience in a similar role

**Knowledge and skills**:
Efficiency in administration
MS Office Suite
Graphic design
Canva
Copywriting
Presentation skils
Communication skills
Proficiency in English. Proficiency in IsiZulu will be an added advantage.
