Wisper ISP is a high speed internet provider in the United States headquartered in Mascoutah, Illinois with regional offices located throughout Missouri. We provide service in Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, quality installs, and trusted service.

Wisper Internet is seeking a **NOC Technical Lead** to join our Network Operations Center team. This role is responsible for designing, planning, and executing network infrastructure and support projects, with a focus on network operations across Core, Distro, and Access layers. The NOC Technical Lead will oversee technical project deliverables, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines while maintaining detailed documentation of plans, designs, and processes. They will also be expected to troubleshoot and coordinate incident responses for both internal and external network issues. This position reports to the NOC Manager and may require up to 5% travel.

Job duties include:

- Quickly diagnose, prioritize, troubleshoot & coordinate incident response efforts for internal/external network issues.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute technical project deliverables while adhering to budgets and timelines.
- Ensure detailed documentation of project plans, designs, processes, and systems.
- Comply with the Wisper Core Values & ensure department adheres to company policy & procedures
- Up 5% of travel required
- Reports to NOC Manager
- Other duties as directed

Job Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of operational support of an ISP, data center, or enterprise network
- 1-3 years experience in ticket escalation & change management
- 1-3 years experience in network project planning, scoping, documentation, and deployment
- Legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future
- Must pass a background check & drug screen
- Regular & predictable attendance required
