RECEPTIONIST / SALON MANAGER
Our well-established company is looking to appoint an receptionist to join our expanding Marketing department in Century City.
This position involves a great deal of multitasking and requires a considerable sense of responsibility. The applicant should have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals at different levels.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Matric/Grade 12
- An admin related qualification or certificate will be an advantage
- Strong sense of client orientated service delivery
- Experience in administration will be an advantage
- Applicant must have good communication skills and be fluent in both Afrikaans and English
- Exceptional interpersonal and a keen eye for detail
- Self-reliance with a high level of integrity and accountability
- Must have own reliable transport
Duties and responsibilities include but is not limited to the following:
- General office, filing and administrative duties
- General reception duties and tend to incoming telephone calls and action accordingly
- General typing and updating of client information and documentation on our internal system
- Weekly productivity reports for marketing team
- Weekly commission calculations on range of products for marketing team
- Recordkeeping and updating of daily attendance register
- New client registration documentation - collation and submission to respective departments
- Weekly reporting to Director on progress made with tasks and highlighting exceptions
- Administration of new marketing employees (service agreements, policies and procedures and registration on internal performance tracking system etc.)
- Co-ordination of all marketing training activities (prepare venue and refreshments and training material)
- Liaise with other internal departments: obtaining documents, verifying information and respond to queries timeously
- And any other task necessary for the conduct of the employer’s business, as the employer may from time to time direct.
