Administrative & Logistics Assistant

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop relationships with transporters and clients.
- Keeping clients informed regarding the status of cargo.
- Follow-up with trucks to determine ETA.
- Communication with suppliers and loading points.
- Handle everyday logístical challenges.
- Weekly planning of truck movements and delivery.
- Updating system from loaded to delivered.
- Sending of load cons.
- Daily admin functions.
- Adding new transporters and updating insurance.
- Invoicing
- 6-month Reconciliations.
- Opening and sending of contracts and collection of signed contracts.
- Collecting POD's.
- Supplier payments.
- Loading of transport invoices.
**Experience & Qualifications**:
- At least 2 -3 years of experience in a logistics role.
- Matric qualification.
- A degree will be beneficial.
**Competencies**:
- Analytical.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Excellent customer service.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Fully bilingual with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
**Remuneration**:
- Industry-related basic salary dependent on experience.
