Facility and Vehicle Fleet Co-ordinator

Reporting to the SHEQ manager, the Facility and Vehicle Fleet Co-ordinator will be responsible for all property related maintenance and services required at the ACS Head Office in Stormill. This includes responsibility for interfacing with various property related service providers including the designated security company, landlord service providers, and all contractors and suppliers required for the continuous and seamless operation of the ACS Head Office Buildings and Facilities. The position will be required to serve as the main point of contact for all our premises/offices. Responsible for Management and co-ordination of all activities related to the fleet of company owned vehicles.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Qualification required**
- Matric/Grade 12

**Experience required**
- Similar applied experience for a period of at least two years
- Technical exposure to detect root cause of any problems or faults
- Drivers Licence Required (Own transport)

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Key Performance Areas**
- Manage the interface with the assigned security company, assuring that the premises are being attended to at all times to ensure protection of the building, vehicles and assets contained within the premises. This role will be the primary contact for the security company and as such accountable for the efficient operation of the appointed security company.
- Pro-actively attend to all maintenance related issues for the building and engaging with contractors to resolve issues within as short a timeframe as possible.
- Manage the deliverables of the garden maintenance service as well as any standard contracted maintenance services.
- Co-ordinate and manage any site activities or requirements required by the landlord or the landlord’s appointed contractors.
- Responsibility for the generator in the building, including constant supply of fuel, correct operation of the generator and specific attention during load shedding to facilitate seamless operation of the business. Ensure generator is maintained as per manufacturer specification.
- Interface with necessary providers in the event of any water stoppages, unplanned electricity outages to ensure that they are contacted and the matter is resolved.
- Pro-actively check the state of the building and facilities to ensure that all is functioning as it should.
- Report any instances where property is damaged and where possible indicate the responsible party for causing the damage.
- Ensure that visitors parking remains clear for visitors only and where staff park in these bays that this is reported to the responsible manager
- Safe and effective repair of any minor issues on the premises, where possible and a contractor/provider is not necessary.
- Interface with the safety department with regard to legislated requirements when bringing a contractor onto site.
