**purpose**:
To establish the information management and governance discipline and excellence, insight, strategies, architecture (process, standards, controls, measures and feedback loops), guiding the capability maturity of the information management practices and delivery across its (information) Value Chain. The role will guide the information architecture team capability.
**experience and qualifications**:
- Post Graduate
- Excellent knowledge of process, data warehousing and business intelligence tools and techniques are essential as is a proven track record of enterprise architecture in large banking environments
- **additional requirements**:
- Skilled in 4 specific pillars (Renewable Energy, Reducing Carbon Footprint, Water usage effectiveness, Power Usage Effectiveness) - Experience in managing an organization's sustainability programs. - Experience in leading research and analysis used to develop corporate sustainability strategies to ensure that business practices, products, and services are environmentally friendly and compliant with government rules and regulations. - Experience in able to collaborates with other leaders to implement processes and technologies that reduce the organization's carbon footprint. - Experience in promoting and explaining the organization's sustainability philosophy to internal and external audiences. - Experience in managing the power usages across different departments and disciplines in the Group. - Experience in ensuring that sustainability project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. - Additionally, Sustainability Manager requires a bachelor's degree. - To be a sustainability manager typically requires 5 years-experience in the related area as an individual contributor. - 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Track record of being a team-player and collaborating across several disciplines and departments.
**responsibilities**:
- Drive business profitability in the context of cost management through Information technology solutions
- Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency
- Establish and align target and budget goals with overall strategic objectives and ensure each functional area remains within budgeted cost limits.
- Develop and implement differentiated service models for client segments.
- Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members by providing input to business requirements
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to assess information architectural requirements for new and enhanced business operations
- Develop strategic platforms to meet the business growth demands and define the right information architecture requirements for any new business initiative.
- Develop and implement best practice policy and process strategies to enhance cost and time efficiencies, improvements and problem solving for Information Architecture
- Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, initiatives and relevant industry practices. Ensure drafting and implementation of appropriate interventions. Ensure compliance with audit requirements
- Identify business opportunities or create new business concepts and development approaches to support business growth.
- Ensures that management processes are put in place to ensure that all operational issues are tracked and controls are implemented to maintain high levels of data ethics for information architecture business
- Develop Strategies to improve operational and cost efficiencies by tracking, controlling and influencing activities with the specific aim to increase efficiencies of the team by keeping pace with the accelerated rate of innovation and develop plans to allow the organisation to become more flexible.
