**Minimum requirements**:

- Completed LLB with 2 years of Clerkship served in an IP firm;
- Admitted Attorney;
- Knowledge and understanding of trade mark litigation is essential;
- 2 - 5 years’ post admission experience in trade mark litigation a must;
- Experience in IP enforcement throughout Africa is preferable;
- Fully computer literate on Ms Office (Knowledge of Patricia will be advantageous);
- Excellent written & oral communication skills and excellent command of English;
- Must be able to multi-task;
- Able to work independently;
- Deadline driven;
- Good team player;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Personal development abilities;
- Client focused;
- Good negotiation skills;
- Able to maintain an orderly working environment;
- Punctual and reliable;
- Good work ethics.

**Key responsibilities and duties**:

- Meeting monthly fee target;
- Accurate & efficient record keeping;
- Compliance with strict litigation and other deadlines;
- Ensuring accurate and timeous drafting of all pleadings;
- Ensuring adequate pre-trial and pre-hearing preparation.
