Job Purpose

To effectively communicate and participate in corporate transactions with various executives. Assist with transactions from a financial modelling, planning and documentation perspective. Effectively liaise with company senior executives, negotiate with other parties and project manage transactions to the benefit of the company.

The Senior Associate Corporate Finance reports to the Chief Executive Officer - SA.

The Senior Associate Corporate Finance does not have any direct subordinates.

**Responsibilities**:
a) Effectively communicate potential transactions with executives and corporate finance team.
b) Build financial models for analysis of potential transactions
c) Analyse and interpret financial models provided by external parties
d) Collaboration with external corporate finance advisors
e) Assisting with conceptualising of potential deals
f) Research on relevant topics
g) Preparation of board presentations
h) Reviewing and concluding commercial agreements
i) Collaboration with external legal advisors
j) Reviewing and administering deal related documentation

Role Location

Growthpoint Head Office in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Experience
- Must have between 5 and 10-years’ experience in business management at a senior level.
- Must have a long record of success in developing business plans and procedures with a positive outcome.
- Must be an innovator and know the ins and outs of various financial structures, public communications, and competitive intelligence.
- Experience in working within a matrix structure.
