- The Fleet Administrator is responsible for the compliant administration and co-ordination of the organization's fleet of vehicles. Schedules repairs or preventative maintenance, ensuring that the necessary numbers of fleet vehicles are available at all times.- Duties:
- Assist in the administration and co-ordination of the organization's fleet.- Maintain accurate records of vehicle/truck permits, vehicle licenses, crane operator’s certificates and driver’s licenses & PDP’s.- Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations and files paperwork in support of this compliance as needed.- Ensure all vehicles are fully compliant with the Road Traffic Act.- Schedule repairs or preventative maintenance, ensuring that the necessary number of fleet vehicles are available at all times.- Ensure license renewals and roadworthy are done for company vehicles.- Maintain service & maintenance registers on all the company Fleet.- Monitor the vehicle tracking system to ensure the fleet don’t go off route.- Monitor and pull weekly violations reports for all vehicles.- Oversee maintenance and service process to reduce down time and costs.- Monitor fuel/diesel consumption.- Administration of monthly diesel reports.- Ensure all mobile crane & lifting equipment inspections are scheduled and certified when required.- Record tyre replacements on job card, register and the YTD register and cost reporting.- Notify responsible personnel of any vehicle breakdowns off site.- Tend to and resolve all Bitrack Notifications.- Submit Truck schedules for ESA and sub-contractor trucks on a monthly basis to Senior Management.- Record and submit monthly crane usage for ESA and sub-contractor mobile crane usage to management on a monthly basis.- Report and attend Installations monthly reports meeting.- Monitor transport related expenditure.- Capture all information received from the Road Warrior System into the Installation Time Management Spreadsheet.- Draw up and maintain preventative maintenance and wear part replacement schedules.- Ensure that BIDTRACK systems are updated and liaison with supplier on all issues-
**Inherent Requirements**
- Requirements:
- Grade 12- Minimum 2-3 years’ fleet experience- Computer literate in MS Office (intermediate or advance excel required)- Excellent Planning & Organizing skills- Be able to effectively communicate in English- Working Hours: Monday to Friday (07h30 to 16h00)**What Qualification**
