Looking to manage a trendy retail centre in Cape Town?

Our client is a reputable commercial real estate services business with operations throughout all major cities in South Africa. Representing both private and listed landlords, this dynamic business provides bespoke facilities and property management services across all asset classes. They are currently seeking a well-rounded Retail Centre Manager to manage a centre of 30,000 GLA. Looking after just about 100 tenants as well as a team of 3 operations staff, your day to day will include: Keeping abreast of marketing activities in respect of tenant movement, new developments and major vacancies, assisting with annual maintenance plans, daily centre inspections, preparing budgets and forecasts, analysing and reporting on income and expenditure, debtors and creditors management, tenant liaison, management reporting, leasing as well as overseeing health and safety.

To qualify for this position, you will need to have a relevant tertiary diploma/degree in Finance, Business Management, Real Estate or related fields and at least 3 years’ experience in retail property management. You will also need to have sound knowledge of MDA property software, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently while delivering results.
