**IT SUPPORT ASSISTANT**
**Purpose of Job**:
The person will be responsible for the first line of support in all IT-related issues, ensuring that our employees are supported with reliable and efficient IT systems.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Network Administration and Sustainability.
2. Support all Office 365 software and administration portal.
3. Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
4. Install, configure, and maintain systems and peripherals.
5. Set up and deploy new hardware and software to new employees.
6. Monitor and manage IT infrastructure including network performance, backups, and security.
7. Maintain accurate records of IT inventory of all dedicated hardware to employees.
8. Provide training and support to employees on IT and internal software-related topics and best practices.
9. Perform reliable server maintenance and cleanup.
**The Following Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience will be required**:
u Grade 12 (Matric).
u Advanced Windows knowledge and troubleshooting abilities.
u Linux system knowledge (Advantageous)
u Software development capabilities (Advantageous)
u Office 365 Software and Knowledge (Beneficial)
**Personal Attribute**
u Hands-on person
u Reliable and willing to learn.
u Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
u Computer savvy and have a passion for IT.
**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

- High School (matric) (preferred)
