Position Description:
**An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Junior Merchandise Planner within Exact. If you would like the opportunity to join a dynamic team and have the experience, then this is the ideal position for you.**
**Key activities include**:

- Influencing and implementing the relevant brand’s merchandise strategy
- Financial and strategic management of the various products e.g. product planning, controlling open-to-buy, reviewing weekly & monthly figures
- Management of the range assortments and replenishment
- Management and implementation of distribution strategy e.g. analysing stores profiles & sales trends, developing promotional & range distribution by store & cluster
- Communication with stores and field
- Proven working experience as a Planner ( 1 -2 years)
- A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work
- Computer literacy in word, excel and planning systems
- Strong business acumen and merchant thinking
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven decision-making ability
- Strong affiliation to systems, utilising them to increase productivity in line with the merchandise strategy
