**A permanent opportunity has become available in our planning team for a Merchandise Planner. If you’re passionate about product and have sound planning experience then this is the position for you.**

**As a Senior Merchandise Planner, your responsibilities will include**:

- Influencing and implementing the relevant brand’s merchandise strategy
- Financial and strategic management of the various products e.g. product planning, controlling open-to-buy, reviewing weekly & monthly figures
- Management of the range assortments and replenishment
- Management and implementation of distribution strategy e.g. analysing stores profiles & sales trends, developing promotional & range distribution by store & cluster
- Ensure product plan meet location plan targets
- Ensure agreed KPI’s are achieved i.e. sales, stock, markdowns, gross profit, stockturn, IMU
- To monitor in season trade and react accordingly
- OTB management to maximise profitability
- Responsible for allocations to achieve KPI’s
- Communication with stores and field
- Supplier relationship management and effective communication
- Competitive shop analytics and measured against agreed benchmarks
- Proven working experience as a Senior Planner 3-5 years
- 3 Year Tertiary institution relevant business diploma or degree
- A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work
- Computer literacy in word, excel and planning systems
- Strong business acumen and merchant thinking
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven, precise decision-making ability
- Strong affiliation to systems, utilising them to increase productivity in line with the merchandise strategy
