Data Management Specialist About the Company
We are a UAV company based in Cape Town, South Africa. We design and produce UAVs, such as quadcopters, and VTOL fixed wings for military and commercial use. We have been in operation for 10 years and we are rapidly expanding.

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Identify customers, stakeholders, executive sponsors, and project teams
- Define project objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Evaluate projects based on ability of DMO to execute and the impact to customers and stakeholders
- Develop and perform audits, validations and associated processes and tracking methods to ensure data quality
- Develop data recovery software or other tools to help recover lost or damaged data
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Organising and maintaining electric records for company’s databases
- Design, implement and maintain databases for business operations
- Design and implement backup solutions for computer systems to protect against data loss
- Oversees and manages assigned project and/or department’s data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements.
- Serves as the point person for data-related tasks on an assigned project.
- Coordinates the production of data by the assigned department and by other data developers.
- Reviews prepared data to ensure it is adequate, accurate, and complies with regulations before it is transferred to the customer.
- Fields data-related questions and assists with customer-required process reviews.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Requirements:

- Minimum 3+ years of recent experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, database administration or a related field
- Certification and licenses advantageous
- Detail oriented, very organised, and able to perform job duties with mínimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Extensive knowledge of data preparation procedures and requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS and similar software

Important to note:

- Hybrid position
- Own Car essential
- Permanent role with a 3 months’ probation period.
- Background check and references required

**Salary**: R350,000.00 - R600,000.00 per year
