Job Description
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS**
- Must be able to give instructions and guidance to subordinates (Be a leader, leading by example)
- Must have knowledge and understand the Main Agreement
- Computer literate
- Understand and be able to work the JDE System (will be an advantage)
- Be able to do Stock Count’s, and correctly
- Understand of KANBAN and why it’s being used.
- Stays in Johannesburg or surrounding areas
- Identify all issues and provide continuous support to all members according to operating standards on everyday basis.
- Supervise effective working of production personnel and prepare effective production schedules and ensure compliance to all company policies. (Moulding department)
- Administer all work according to QRQC principles and recommend strategies to improve processes.
- Maintain records of all data attendance and provide effective training to all staff members.
- Coordinate with equipment and processes teams and ensure compliance to all protocols and maintain product quality.
- Manage and prioritize all production processes and implement all production plans
- Ensure compliance to all policies to achieve all production objectives and provide appropriate feedback to all employees.
- Develop and maintain effective relations with all company employees at various levels of organization.
- Prepare necessary paperwork and administer all invoices and maintain records of all documents.
- Maintain and provide support to all 5-S program and prepare training program for employees.
- Ensure compliance to workplace policies according to safety objectives.
- The employees and management of BIC South Africa have agreed upon the targets for each job. These targets must be achieved and always be maintained.
- Maintain 93% productivity/efficiency for each machine
- A minimum of 2(two) years’ experience in mass production environment (Injection Moulding)
- Highest standard in housekeeping must be always maintained
- All operational machinery must be kept in a safe, clean and tidy condition
- The highest standards of quality must be maintained on all produced goods
- All duties will be performed in accordance with the prescribed S.P.M (STD Production Method)
- Late coming in workplace will not be accepted. If absent, for any reasons Production Foreman must be informed or Production Manager on time.
- Ensure that PPE issued by company is always worn while on duty and well maintained
- It may be necessary to perform other duties in other areas when need arises
- Be able to work 3 shifts system rotating. Morning, Afternoon and Night shift
- All production must be recorded correctly on each shift by the machine operator and submitted to supervisor at end of shift. Supervisor must all through the shift check and sign off each machine per shift.
- If and when problems occur, they must be reported immediately to supervisor, Foreman
- All traceability labels must be attached to all production and must be checked by the supervisor and QC
- Safety and housekeeping prevent and minimize hazards. Ensure that the area around machines and equipment is always kept clean and tidy if this requirement is not met, a report must be made to the Production Foreman and or the safety representative for the area. (Safety is our Priority)
- Review annually the risk assessments with Production Foreman and the HSE department
- Report all near misses on a monthly basis (EHS)
- Comply to al 5S activities and processes

Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Advance Injection Moulding Certificate
- Supervisor experience will be advantage
- Min of 5 years operator experience
- NQF4
