**Job Requirements**:

- Matric, N4 qualification
- Legal Liability Course
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Course
- Incident Investigation Course
- Firefighting certificate
- Qualification in Flameproof installation, DIP & Non spark
- Knowledge of Intercyte will be an advantage.
- Computer literacy - good computer knowledge on Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Syspro, Docuware)

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervisor Section 8.1 as per Occupational Health and Safety Act, No. 85 of 1993
- Inspect the Racking, Stacking and Storage to ensure the safety of all
- Responsible for health and safety of all employees
- Rigger / Banksman qualification to assist with moving of equipment in the warehouse and the safe packing of warehouse and
- Vehicle Inspector, monthly and random inspections of vehicles and complete checklists, also responsible for vehicle maintenance
- Overhead crane and basic rigging qualification to operate the
- Vehicle operators require legal drivers’
- OHS administrator including maintaining Sasol ROAS. (Attend Sasol ROAS Safety meetings to represent the Company and comply to all Sasol safety regulations)
- Inspect the Generator and Compressor monthly, ensure Generator has Diesel and control diesel
- Accident, Incident investigator qualification, Investigate all incidents and accidents, complete necessary documentation and
- Order, issue and control all Personal Protective Equipment for the Branch
- Inspect and rectify all Portable electrical equipment. Ensure calibration certificates are all up to
- Operate a Forklift for moving equipment around when
- Inspect all Lifting gear including webbing slings, steel wire slings, shackles etc.
- Inspect Fire extinguishers and hose reels
- Hazardous substance control coordinator, inspect, order and control the usages of hazardous
- Ensure correct stock is picked, modified as per workshop instruction and dispatch the correct stock to customer for on time
- Check correct stock is received from Head office or other branches and receive in on Syspro
- Do stock take to ensure the correct amount of stock is on hand and compares to Syspro
- After hour deliveries if and when required
- Assist clients that visit the branch with technical details
- Assist internal sales people with queries on motors, VSD’s, Switch gear etc.
- Classification and modification of motors from time to time when workshop staff are out on deliveries
- Connect and test PT100 and Thermistor installations
- Assist with Standby duties when required
- Keep all documentation up to date on Intercyte
- Maintain and Implement ISO standards in the warehouse
- Complete Workforce Timesheets

**Specific Requirements/Additional information**
- A legal driving license.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, including formal communication and making presentations.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- A sense of urgency with a strong customer service orientation.
- Willingness and freedom to travel.
- Hard working, resourceful, ambitious with excellent business acumen.
- Predominantly office based. Position requires travel.
- Required to attend and participate in continuing educational programs designed to keep you abreast of changes in your profession.
