An Electrical Switchgear agent based in Durban is currently seeking an External Sales Representative with a background and experience in the Electrical Field for our Cape Town branch

**Responsibilities**
- To actively promote the full product range.
- Providing market intelligence in support of building new markets and solutions
- Develop sales plans in accordance with internal processes
- Provide relevant and accurate information and reporting in a timely manner.
- Ensuring budget and growth targets are achieved.
- Cold calling and solution offering
- Coordinate marketing and customer events to promote brands and products
- Regular collaboration with product team to understand products and service levels
- Manage existing key accounts and generate new business
- Technical experience to discuss and resolve customer queries.
- Self driven, solution focused approach with strong communication skills
- The ability to build and maintain business relationships

**Experience and skills**:

- 3 years plus mandatory sales experience in the electrical industry
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Good organizational skills (Time management etc.)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Drivers license (preferred)
