We are looking to hire a full time Regional (KZN) Operations Manager to manage our Durban-based retail stores and warehouse. We need someone with moderate experience in the retail industry and that is excellent at managing people, strategic and ruthless in execution of established standards with experience in business development. We are a dynamic brand and need someone that fits the young, all-rounder culture and can push all aspects of our KZN operation to new heights.

The duties of someone in this role will include running our retail and wholesale business and managing our warehouse and logistics operation. This role requires constant review of our processes, monitoring of staff and business performance and ensuring compliance across the board. You will need to be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we'll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient and profitable.

**Breakdown of responsibilities**:
Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.

Implement high level operational management systems, processes and best practices

Purchase materials, plan inventory and overseas warehouse efficiency

Ensure the organization's processes are legally compliant

Formulate strategic and operational objectives and see them through

Examine financial data and use the findings to improve profitability

Manage budgets and forecasts

Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs

Recruitment, train and manage staff

Find solutions to increase quality of customer satisfaction and brand development

Develop the wholesale business and actively pursue new business

Proven work experience in an operations or similar role

Sound knowledge of organization optimization and operations management

Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting

Familiarity with business and financial principles

Excellent communication skills

Leadership ability

Outstanding organizational skills

Min Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field (advantageous)
