**To assume financial performance and operational accountability for the growth, development and success of the AME emerging franchise and license markets (Angola, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Namibia, Sudan, Zimbabwe); managed from Midrand Central Office.**
- Development and implementation of annual business plans, operations plans and campaigns which align with overall Brand strategies
- Management, control and development of the Brands national operations teams, training support, supply chain and project management support, home delivery support and marketing within the relevant territories
- Preparation and management of annual turnover and operating budgets
- Accountable for the recruitment, selection and management of all franchise and license partners, as well as Famous Brands team members deployed in markets
- Responsible for achievement of Brand operational standards ratings as well as development and implementation of all operational programmes to Group Operations Services standards e.g. Operations Manuals, Training Programs, Product Quality, etc.
- Responsible for full implementation of all national, regional and locality marketing programmes in emerging markets
- Responsible for development and implementation of franchisee best operating practice financial benchmarks i.e. driving individual franchisee profitability
- Satisfactorily manage customer queries and expectations
- Host, co-ordinate and attend regional franchisee meetings where necessary
- Direct and oversee relevant menus, new product innovations and new store development interventions
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with the companies key strategic alliance partners
- Align the profile of the team with the Groups BEE objectives
- Implement the Groups Integrated Performance Management Cycle and Talent Management Programmes as appropriate
- Manage the store revamp/upgrade program in line with contractual arrangements with franchise partners

**Formal Education**
- Must be in possession of a suitable tertiary qualification preferably a Bachelors Degree

**Experience**
- Must have a minimum of 5 to 10 years previous management experience as well as experience in the leadership of a large and diverse teams
- Strong track record of success in the franchising or foodservice industry.
