Receptionist

The Receptionist is responsible for providing efficient and professional front-line service to our suppliers, customers, and colleagues on the switchboard and at the reception desk. The position receives suppliers, customers, and colleagues telephonically, as well as in person, in a professional manner, always maintaining and enhancing the company image.
The position delivers reception services to all Cullinan Holdings’ travel divisions based at the Durban Office and is required to build a good understanding of the different divisions he/she will be servicing.
**Key Objectives**
The key functions of the Receptionists include but will not be limited to:
- Managing the front desk
- Welcoming visitors
- Regulating noise levels
- Answering and directing calls
- Taking clear and detailed messages. Ensuring that urgent messages are delivered immediately.
- General functions
- Managing the ordering, recording, and issuing of staff's building access discs
- Updating extension lists
- Managing staff parking allocation
- Assisting, when necessary, with booking training sessions and supplier visits
- Setting up calendar events, boardroom bookings, and welcome signs.
- Docex / Courier
- Maintaining incoming and outgoing logs
- Printing Docex sheets
- Ordering bar codes
**Requirements**:
**Qualification**
- Grade 12
**Essential experience and skills required**
- Minimum 3 years of receptionist experience with similar responsibilities
- Experienced working on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). SharePoint experience is highly beneficial.
- Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional attitude
- Excellent listening skills
- Excellent at multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time
- Effective organizational skills
- Meticulous and attentive to detail
