**Job description**:
A1 Fruit Water is a premium sparkling water infused with real African fruit. A1 Fruit Water has zero calories, zero sugar, no sweeteners or preservatives and is Vegan certified.

**Role**:

- Build and develop new and existing sales channels for A1 Fruit Water
- Travel to retail stores and make sure A1 Fruit Water is stocked on shelves
- Develop relationships with store managers to ensure preferential placement
- Communicate with store managers to reorder products
- Place marketing elements in stores to increase product visibility
- Monitor and ensure all pricing and promotions are in stores
- Provide feedback to A1 Fruit Water on how to drive more sales
- Conduct various in-store sampling experience to help drive sales through the till

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement merchandising strategies
- Establish and build customer relationships
- Monitoring and managing inventory at store level (oversight)
- Report low stock levels, out of stock items, damaged items and expired stock
- Reviewing product display and appeal
- Implementing and monitoring promotions
- Manage and communicate supply and customer issues
- Drive new business in health deli’s, boutique stores and other independents.
- Facilitate re-orders in Top-End retail stores where A1 Fruit Water already sells
- Conduct sampling experience events in stores as outlined by a promotions schedule
- Collect and deliver stock to various locations from time to time

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in sales/ merchandising in retail/FMCG sector. Prefered is in healthy soft drinks or premium consumerables.
- The ability to meet sales targets and sufficient proof of that
- Organizational and decision-making skills, commercial awareness
- Some promotions experience a bonus
- Own personal mode of transport (essential) and a smart phone

**Terms**:
Sale and Promotions consultant (3-month probation period)
A basic salary will be paid which will include a contribution to travel and cell phone costs

This position will be heavily incentivised through commission. Commission structure will be discussed and agreed on by both parties prior to the job commencing

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 5 years (required)
- Promotions: 3 years (preferred)
- Beverage Sales: 3 years (preferred)
