SHOUT-IT-NOW uses innovative social behaviour change approaches to effectively engage youth and create demand for our health and wellbeing services. We offer a range of health services, currently focused on sexual and reproductive health, via a variety of convenient channels, primarily mobile vans. We also aim to connect youth via referrals and linkages to a range of other health and wellbeing services, including behavioural and livelihoods programs that are offered through partners. Custom technology enables SHOUT-IT-NOW to effectively use real-time data to generate insights and inform our program design—our youth engagement, communications and service delivery strategies—and to give youth easy access to programs offered by our ecosystem partners.
We are looking for a **IT Systems Administrator**, to join our team based in our **Centurion Office**. This position reports directly to the IT Operations Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma in IT
- A+ Certification
- N+ Certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive safely and confidently as employee will have to drive to site teams and district offices when required.
- 5+ years’ experience in providing remote, telephonic and onsite support
- Expert in Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 10)
- 5+ years’ experience in networking and networking equipment (wireless routers and switches)
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solving skills in internet-based technologies
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding in hardware (desktops, laptops, printers)
- Strong experience in mobile internet technologies and support
- Demonstrated knowledge & experience of MS SQL Server and SQL scripting
- 5+ years’ experience in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).

**Office**: Centurion Office
**Mandate**: The IT System Administrator is responsible for the provision of high-quality technical support to Head Office employees and the configuration and maintenance of Shout-It-Now’s computer networks and IT infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Installs, maintains, upgrades, and continuously improves the Shout-It
- Now IT operating environment
- Administers all IT systems
- Deploys the release of new or upgraded technologies, including the design, installation, configuration, maintenance and performance testing of operating systems and networks
- Provides technical input and support in infrastructure projects
- Recommends changes and / or enhancements to improve the systems’ availability, reliability, and performance
- Develops, maintains, recommends, documents and supports tools
- Manages user accounts, sets up users, creates access roles and compiles related reports for record-keeping
- Identifies and recommends opportunities to automate operational activities
- Implements accurate database administration and migration
- Leads the process to make amendments in the SQL database and conducts advanced troubleshooting of the databases
- Assists the Monitoring and Evaluation team to extract information from the SQL database
- Diagnoses and resolves complex technical hardware and / or software related issues, independently, based on the tickets logged, and within the shortest possible time
- Provides guidance regarding new systems and functionalities to relevant users

- Maintains software and hardware assets
- Performs advanced troubleshooting, diagnoses, and resolves network and connection issues both in the office and remotely
- Engages internal and external stakeholders on IT related issues
- Leads IT support projects and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve complex IT support-related problems
- Provides accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on general statistics and problems experienced
- Provide technical guidance and coaches and guides junior team members by coordinating the planning and scheduling of IT-support activities
- Identifies and reports trends in system-related recurring issues and makes recommendations to resolve complex issues or enhance the hardware and / or software, servers, and networks

- Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
- Good report writing skills
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and juggle competing priorities

- Strong work ethic, with a commitment to quality
