**Requirements**:

- A relevant 3 year tertiary qualification: National Diploma in Real

Estate/Property Valuation, BDegree in Property Studies, B Tech
Degree in Real Estate/Property Valuation
- At least 8 years’ relevant property valuations experience
- Valid registration as a Professional Valuer or Professional Associated

Valuer in terms of the Property Valuers Profession Act without
restrictions.
- A valid code B/EB drivers’ licence
- Must be physically fit and able bodies for site inspections

Key Performance Areas
- Provide market valuations of immovable properties including rights

in immovable properties, ie.residential, commercial, industrial,
business, institutions, farms, open spaces, roads, etc.
- Provide immovable property related advice and support to internal

and external stakeholders to influence and guide valuation decisions
for acquisitions, disposals and rentals
- Implementing section and department communication strategy for

efficient service delivery
- Correspond and conduct negotiations and represent regarding

acquisitions, disposal and rental valuations with stakeholders
including analysis of Actual Financial Loss claims from expropriations
or acquisitions.
- Undertake professional functions, ie research and development in

the valuation fields to facilitate continuous improvement to service
delivery.
