**Requirements**:

- National Senior Certificate or equivalent (NQF 4).
- Full Spectrum Grain Grader Qualification.
- 2 years of managerial experience.
- 5 years of operational experience in a grain silo storage facility.
- Valid Fumigation P Number and experience in fumigation.
- Valid RSA driver’s license with own transport.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee induction, training, and performance evaluations of silo staff. Foster a positive work environment, resolve issues, and align staff with company goals. Manage line managers, productivity, schedules, overtime, and HR support.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and regulatory standards. Implement corrective actions, maintain accurate records, and manage raw material quality, inventory, and compliance with OHS and ISO standards.
- Complete administrative tasks, reports, and SOP updates. Contribute to strategic planning, track intake plans and risks, and support operational performance improvements.
- Align operations with company objectives, conduct skills gap analyses, and provide staff training. Mentor and coach staff for performance and career growth.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, maintain cleanliness, and uphold safety standards. Address unsafe practices and behaviors.
- Monitor raw material quality, ensure efficient equipment operation, and manage storage and quality control.

**Preferred Skills and Attributes**:

- Ability to train staff, knowledge of ISO 22000, HACCP, demand forecasting, MS Office, preventative maintenance, and quality assurance.
- Accuracy, decision-making, problem-solving, adaptability, persistence, and business acumen.
- Delegation, leading change, visioning, strategic capability, conflict resolution, and people management.
- Effective communication, negotiation, influencing, and professionalism.

**Salary**: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications. Final salary will be discussed during the interview process.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to R720 000,00 per year

- Bloemfontein, Free State: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
