Retail Branch Supervisor

Our Branded Household Client is currently looking for an amazing Branch Supervisor to join their team in Cape Town

Must have a valid license and understanding of stock control etc.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: The Branch Supervisor is accountable for the overall branch sales, operations staff management, and customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Investigate and resolve queries within the branch
- Escalate issues to management and ensure accurate report back
- Reconciliations on daily banking to be done and submitted to head office management
- Downloading and printing the bank statements on a daily basis and reconciling to the sessions captured
- Send reports as per cash procedure to the credit department at head office
- Installer vouchers to be capture within the same day and accurately on the Multichoice portal
- Work with the claims department in processing installer vouchers daily
- Ensure the vrn’s are actioned immediately to ensure no further claims by the installer of non
- submission
- Ensure daily merchandising and housekeeping is managed to company standards.
- Manage the sales counter and ensure that daily cash/credit/debit cards balance as per the daily banking process.
- Update bank reconciliation as per head office requirements
- Manage and capture the POD report i.e. 48-hour turnaround only
- POD scanning on DocuVision to be done daily
- Ensure Branch administration is up to date i.e. Daily banking, book registers invoicing, filling, OHASA and GRC’s
- Resolve sales queries within our SLA.
- Petty cash reconciliation and sign-off daily
- Ensure all functions are performed daily (sales/ops admin)
- Verify that all documentation e.g. Trip sheet, waybill with couriers/own vehicle documentation is signed off beforehand as per the policy.
- All non-stock purchase orders/accounts are actioned on time as per the statement date
- Submit monthly operations reporting to head office
- Manage branch stock ordering
- Managing daily branch expenses and ensure they are in line with your monthly budgets
- Responsible for opening and closing and alarm call outs of the branch
- Maintain Occupation Health & Safety File (OHASA)
- Ensure the OHASA file is managed and compliant with the legislation
- Property maintenance is kept to a high standard and all maintenance has been communicated to management
- Ensure daily high-risk counts are actioned daily and feedback submitted on all variances, and the correct action has been taken for any stock variances
- Ensure bi-annual stock take is complete as per the company process.
- Ensure that all stock losses are in line with the Company target. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

- Matric
- Must have 3-5 years experience as a Retail Branch Supervisor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and internet is required
- People management experience
- Warehousing and stock management

**Salary**: CTC: R10 000 -R13 000

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R13,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maitland, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- retail branch supervisor: 3 years (required)
- people management: 1 year (preferred)
- warehousing and stock management: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 2 years (preferred)
