**What we are looking for**
An exceptional sales team leader with a professional attitude; passionate about your customers and the vehicles you sell. The role requires you to ensure a measurable, consistent and high quality pipeline/throughput of sold vehicles coupled with 5+ star customer reviews.
Your organisation and attention to detail skills in a high throughput role are unparalleled. You are a key driver in our business and want to grow personally. You will need excellent communication skills, a professional demeanour and the ability to work with customers and provide a superior quality of service all of the time.
**Required Duties**
- Plan, schedule and manage resources to meet targets and sell within brand parameters
- Supervision, training and mentoring of sales staff and transferring product knowledge
- Measure, analyse and improve conversion statistics
- Meet your personal sales targets and you are responsible for the CPT Operation reaching sales targets
- Daily customer contact and sales process
- Conflict management - customers and internal
- Daily coordination with Acquisitions and Recon/Logistics functions (Trade in and Deliveries)
- Documentation/contract compilation, coordination and filing
- Identify and flag risky transactions and communicate these to Compliance
- Continuous evolution of the Customer Experience through innovation (wherever in the transaction lifecycle)
**General Expectations**
- Provide an 11- star customer service experience (convenient, transparent, professional) represented by 5 star online reviews
- Continuously assess and challenge the systems and processes to improve these
- Follow processes ensuring utmost cost/effort efficiency and professionalism
- Ability to work well within a team environment and to lead an inexperienced team
- Clearly communicate with your customers to educate and guide throughout the buying process
- Achieve target numbers/profits/positive reviews
**Minimum requirements**
- Grade 12 plus
- A minimum of 5 years work experience in the automotive industry with at least 2 years as a teas leader or equivalent and at least 3 years in car sales
- Extensive vehicle and product knowledge of at least 5 vehicle brands including luxury brands like Audi, BMW and Mercedes
- Excellent leadership skills (Team leader and opportunity to grow into wider role)
- Excellent sales negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good admin and digital/computer technical skills
- Valid driver’s licence (code 08) and own transport
- English spoken and written
- Applicants fluent in additional languages (Xhosa; Zulu; Afrikaans) would be given preference
