Account Manager

**What's the Role?**:
Are you a highly achieving, deliverables-driven Account Manager who likes to outperform and you thrive on excellent customer and stakeholder engagements and service. If so, we are looking for you to join us - for the Pretoria region, and take ownership of market share for Hilti for all activities in this assigned territory to further develop profitable sales in our Electrical and Mechanical market segment. **What does the role involve?**:
You will take the ownership in the assigned territory to develop sales by utilizing all elements of our sales process to effectively analyze, implement and control the opportunities within the territory to achieve the assigned targets for defined territory or market segment.

You will also build fruitful working relationships with all levels - partners, contractors, system integrators & end users, and actively manage and develop the growth of key products within the sales territory by targeting the appropriate customer groups and ensure successful introduction of new products. You will ensure the appropriate level of coverage is given to both buying and potential customers within the customer platform, to develop profitable growth.

You will actively and effectively demonstrate, service, train, and (where appropriate) test Hilti products; and to be successful you must understand the market thoroughly and know the players, therefore you will obtain information on competition, market price levels, new launches, seminars, new outlets, quality issues and product deliveries.

**What you need is**:

- A completed Bachelor’s degree/ diploma (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline is preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years technical sales experience
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commitment, courage and competitive drive
- A willingness to learn and challenge yourself
- Strong technical skills
- Good knowledge of the geographical area/market is desirable
- High level of motivation, very strong customer focus and a continuous improvement mentality required
- Business acumen and excellent knowledge of the job market and network across the sector
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans
